At Tropix Pools, we sell, install and service a full line of pool and spa heaters. We send our technicians to manufacturer's training schools each year to insure that they stay up on the latest technology.

It is important to have your heater sized out and installed by a qualified professional. Heaters require proper gas line sizing, proper water flow and proper venting. Even if you used to have a 400,000 BTU heater, it does not mean that you should replace it with one.

We are happy to come to your home and evaluate your system and recommend the type of heater that best meets your needs and is most compatible with your existing equipment.

Need Professional Installation for your new Pool or Spa Heater?

Pool and Spa Heaters

A pool heater should definitely be installed by a factory trained installer.  This is NOT a product that a homeowner, or a "shade-tree" pool guy should install.

There are many issues that must be properly handled including water flow, gas flow, air supply and venting.  Do not take chances.  Failure to properly install a pool heater may result in injury or death

Max-E-Therm Pool Heaters by Sta-Rite

The greatest strength of Sta-Rite is their engineering.  They designed this heater from the ground up, rather than copying everyone else's design.

The result is a heater with a near-flawless reputation over the past 6 years.  It has also worked very well in salt water pools.  Where space is a concern, this heater is the answer because it takes up much less space while delivering  equal amounts of heat as the larger heaters.

Rheem Pool Heaters (formerly known as Raypak)

Rheem brand heaters offer the legendary quality and reputation of Raypak and are only available through trained local pool installers such as Tropix Pools.

Their pool heater line has been totally redesigned for an even higher level of efficiency and durability.

Laars Pool Heaters by Jandy

For many who have had a pool over the past 30 years, the Teledyne Laars heater was a standard fixture.  They have constantly redesigned this heater as technology has improved.

Today, it is known as the Jandy/Laars heater and it is offered in several different

Hayward Pool Heaters

Hayward has probably been the quietest company with regard to their pool heater.  It tends to be marketed along with a complete equipment set rather than by itself, but they have designed a very nice heater with a commendable dependability rate.

Take a look at their features and you will see what we mean.

Pentair Pool Heaters

Pentair makes the MiniMax and other pool heaters.  We do not carry these heaters since Pentair also owns Sta-Rite Pool Products which makes the Max-E-Therm pool heater (see above).

We feel the Max-E-Therm heater is their best heater.
