1. Quality preparation - many deck resurfacers will simply pressure wash the deck and then start splashing on cool deck material.  You will notice that we include extra deck preparation to scarify the old surface or remove the old paint or cool deck before applying the new surface. 
2. Detail Work - our bids include deco-drains, expansion joints and leveling as needed to achieve the best possible results.  Investing a little extra money in the detail work will greatly enhance your satisfaction in the finished product.
