Resurfacing Options |
|
White Plaster |
Standard white plaster still offers many advantages as a pool surface.
- Cost - it is the simplest and most affordable pool surface.
- Dependability - white plaster is much less likely to show scaling than darker plasters.
- Durability - it is not unusual for white plaster to last 15 - 20 years.
|
| White Plaster PLUS |
We offer several upgrades on white plaster at an affordable cost.
- Quartz - we can add quartz to your plaster mix to offer a nice speckled appearance on the pool. This helps to break up the stark white look.
- DuraMax - we can add a silicone additive to the plaster to help make it smoother and more resistant to chemical damage.
- White Ultra Plus - this gives a smooth white durable finish to the pool
|
| Colored Plaster |
Dark colored plaster offers a nice lagoon look to a pool. It must be carefully coordinated with the look of the tile, coping and deck in order to create a unified appearance.
- Dyed Colors - this is usually done in a lighter color such as natural gray
- Dye and Sand Colors - with blue/gray or green/gray a combination of colored sand and dye is used to create a lasting color.
In order to provide the best possible color match, our plaster crew will make up samples on site for you to evaluate at the time of plaster. |
| River Rock
Diamond Brite
Durazzo |
We offer a number of stone type surfaces that are more durable and natural looking.
- River Rock - this is a smoother version of Pebble-Tec that has smaller sized stone and is quite a bit easier on the feet.
- Diamond-Brite - this is more of a plaster like finish with a high percentage of quartz aggregate.
- Durazzo - a polished aggregate surface that is the best in the business. It offers a smooth sanded surface with the elegance of rock (similar to Terazzo floors)

| Fiberglass Surfacing |
If you are thinking about having your pool resurfaced with a fiberglass coating system, take a few moments to read our comments on this subject. In the end, you may decide that this is the best surface for you, but make an informed decision based on the proven quality of the contractor and the product and don't put too much faith in extended warranties or hyperbolic claims. After Plaster Care Premium - for white plaster
After Plaster Care PLUS
|
We provide complete new plaster care on all of our plaster jobs. This eliminates the possibility of problems with the new plaster startup.
- Proper new plaster care is critical to the job. We porta-vac the dust out of the pool as soon as the equipment starts up to protect your filter. The dust is the number one enemy and vacuuming it out reduces the possibility of scaling.
- We continue brushing and balancing the chemicals (the number of visits depends on which APC you choose at the left).
- We also add all the necessary start up chemicals and completely balance the water. Chemicals include calcium, cyraniric acid, and chlorine and we fully balance the water to get you off to a great start. Note: this does not include adding salt to start up a saltwater pool. The cost for the salt will be billed separately.
The bottom line is that we take complete responsibility for the finished product. |
