Maintenance and Service Operations Are Further Described Below:

Chemical Balancing

The most crucial piece of pool upkeep is checking and adjusting chemicals. Tropix is a nationally recognized Certified Pool Operator. On a weekly basis your Tropix Tech will demine which chemicals to be added to achieve the optimal chemical balance. Proper chemical balance enhances water clarity, water quality and extends the life of equipment.

PH

The pH level shows how acidic your pool water is. The desirable range for pool water pH is 7.2-7.8, and the perfect pool pH is between 7.4 and 7.6. Water below a pH of 7.2 is too acidic, which can cause stinging your eyes, damaging pool finishes and ruining equipment. Water above 7.8 is too alkaline and can cause skin irritation, cloudy water, and scale buildup..

Total Alkalinity

Total alkalinity is the amount of all alkaline chemicals in your water. In the event that the total alkalinity is too low, the pH equilibrium can become unbalanced. Concrete and painted pool surfaces will break down after some time. The total alkalinity and pH are interconnected. For instance, raising the total alkalinity will raise the pH. Ensure you don't upset your pool's pH while changing the total alkalinity.

Calcium Hardness

Calcium hardness is a how hard or soft your pool water is based on the amount of dissolved calcium in your pool. Like your Ph and total alkalinity, it is very important to keep your calcium hardness levels optimal.

Cleaning the Pool

We provide professional, full-service pool care. Whether you need your pool water tested or a liner repaired, our licensed, certified technicians can handle the job. We specialize in pool cleaning as well as chemical and repair services. Our thorough pool cleaning service includes netting, vacuuming, wall brushing, basket cleaning and more. We also provide three types of pool chemical services.

Proper Filtration & Turnover

Your pool water circulates through a filter, which removes particles and debris. Proper filtration means that you won’t need to add chemicals as frequently to your pool as you would have to otherwise. It also means that the microscopic contaminants that are big enough for your filter to catch won’t be swimming in the pool along with you preventing bacteria growth. Not only will this affect water clarity it will also prevent bacteria that could make your family sick.

Equipment Repairs

Regular maintenance for your pool equipment can help extend its life, meaning you won't have to replace parts sooner than necessary. Tropix has the trained staff to tackle any problems with your pool and keep your equipment functioning optimally.
